Match Factory Fund Raiser

Project Aim

The aim of this project is to restore the iconic England’s Glory illuminated sign at the former Morelands Match Factory, now known as the Morelands Trading Estate, on Bristol Road in Gloucester.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the factory’s closure, making it the perfect opportunity to bring this much-loved local landmark back to life. The England’s Glory sign remains an important part of Gloucester’s industrial heritage, and restoring it will help preserve a piece of the city’s history for future generations.

Funds raised through the sale of project-related items will be donated directly to the crowdfunding campaign supporting the restoration.
